About this dive site
Limestone islands, lakes and WWII wrecks in one bay.
Coron Bay preserves Japanese supply ships sunk in 1944, now soft-coral reefs with swim-throughs on the Irako, Okikawa Maru and others. Shallow reef dives around Busuanga add turtles and macro when seas are calm. Wreck penetration demands training; many highlights sit on the exterior.
Match wreck depth - and any penetration - to your training; many famous wrecks are enjoyed from the outside only. Calendar peak is November - May, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Coron day to day, not just the map pin.
