About this dive site
Pygmy and spiny seahorses on Bohol’s quieter eastern dive coast.
Anda lies on eastern Bohol, away from the island’s better-known southwest dive bases. Local shore and boat routes combine coral slopes, walls and small-animal photography. The Magic Oceans team reports Bargibant’s pygmy seahorses and thorny seahorses in its diving area. These are tiny, easily disturbed animals, so ask a knowledgeable guide to point them out and keep cameras, lights and fins clear of their habitat. Choose a route matched to your certification and current conditions.
Go slow, stay off the bottom, and follow a local macro guide - silt and fin kicks ruin shots and habitats. Calendar peak is January - December, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Anda day to day, not just the map pin.
