About this dive site

PNG seamounts with coral diversity and reef sharks.

Kimbe Bay's volcanic ridges near Walindi stack hard-coral gardens, sea fans and fish biomass that define Papua New Guinea diving. Silvertip and grey reef sharks appear on current dives at seamounts like Inglis Shoal. Liveaboards and land-based lodges serve the wider bay and Witu Islands.

Most trips target May - November, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is May - November, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Kimbe Bay day to day, not just the map pin.
