About this dive site
Coral gardens, green turtles and reef fish in the Bazaruto archipelago.
Two Mile Reef offers several coral-diving routes in the Bazaruto archipelago, with shallower reef areas and slopes extending into recreational depths. Local operators describe turtles, reef fish and rays among the highlights, with green turtles part of the wider archipelago’s marine life. Snorkelling and scuba itineraries use different parts of the reef, so confirm which route is planned. Tides, current and boat conditions determine access; give turtles space to surface and keep fins and equipment clear of coral.
Most trips target January - December, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is January - December, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Bazaruto day to day, not just the map pin.
