About this dive site

Atomic-test lagoon wrecks including carriers and battleships on expedition liveaboards.

Bikini Atoll’s lagoon holds the USS Saratoga, Nagato, and other WWII ships sunk during nuclear tests. Access is liveaboard-only with permits; gas planning and history briefings are as important as the coral-encrusted flight decks.

Match wreck depth - and any penetration - to your training; many famous wrecks are enjoyed from the outside only. Calendar peak is May - October, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Bikini Atoll day to day, not just the map pin.
