About this dive site

Giant oceanic mantas and wild dolphin encounters offshore.

The Revillagigedo archipelago, Socorro, San Benedicto and Roca Partida, draws giant oceanic mantas that seem curious around bubbles and cameras. Bottlenose dolphins, hammerheads and thick schools of pelagics appear on exposed seamounts. These are liveaboard-only dives with variable current and open-ocean swell.

Manta cleaning stations need calm positioning - let your guide set the line and keep a respectful distance. Calendar peak is November - May, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Socorro day to day, not just the map pin.
