Hidden-beach islands with protected Pacific reef diving near Puerto Vallarta.
Islas Marietas National Park limits daily visitors but dive boats still reach outer reefs with mantas, turtles and dense fish biomass on good visibility days. Surface conditions and park rules change seasonally; book licensed operators from Puerto Vallarta or Punta de Mita. Not the same as the famous hidden beach snorkel alone.
Marietas park caps visitor numbers; confirm your operator has current permits for dive moorings, not just the hidden beach.
