About this dive site
Cold Pacific kelp and sea lions off Ensenada.
Islas Coronado lie off northern Baja with cooler water, kelp forests and California sea lions on day boats from Ensenada. Visibility swings with upwelling; drysuits or thick wetsuits are common. A different flavour from tropical Cortez or Caribbean Mexico trips.
Coronado is cooler Pacific water; plan thermal protection and check upwelling forecasts from Ensenada.
