About this dive site

Crystal-blue cage diving with great white sharks.

Guadalupe Island far off Baja draws great white sharks into startlingly clear water around surface cages on multi-day liveaboards. No chum-free guarantee exists, but operators follow strict cage protocols. Seas can be rough; seasickness planning and expedition budgeting are part of the trip.

Most trips target August - October, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is August - October, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Guadalupe Island day to day, not just the map pin.
