Protected Chinese migrant-ship wreck turned La Paz artificial reef.
Fang Ming was sunk as an artificial reef in the Sea of Cortez and now hosts schooling fish, turtles and occasional sea lions on the structure. The site sits in open water with variable current; most visits are exterior tours with La Paz operators.
Fang Ming sits in open Cortez water; plan for surface conditions and stick to guided exterior routes.
