Open-water Cortez seamount for hammerheads and pelagic action.
El Bajo rises from deep water off La Paz where scalloped hammerheads and other pelagics appear on blue-water dives when temperature and current cooperate. This is not a beginner site; operators require recent advanced experience and often schedule early starts. Conditions cancel more often than sheltered reef dives.
