About this dive site
Crystal freshwater caverns under the Yucatán jungle.
Dos Ojos is a classic cenote system of sunbeams, stalactites and halocline layers in gin-clear water. Cavern certification, a guide and proper lines are mandatory, this is not an open-water checkout dive. Morning light through the cavern roof is the photographer's reward.
Most trips target November - April, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is November - April, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Riviera Maya day to day, not just the map pin.
