About this dive site
Wide chambers and light shows on the Playa–Puerto Aventuras cenote belt.
Chac Mool is a popular cavern system with large rooms, air domes and dramatic light when the surface is calm. Guides manage line protocols and gas rules for cavern profiles. Combine with Tajma Ha or Eden for a full freshwater day between ocean dives.
Chac Mool pairs with other Playa-belt cenotes on two-tank freshwater days; morning light is best before afternoon tour groups arrive.
