About this dive site

Warm lagoon reefs with turtles, morays and colourful reef fish.

Flic en Flac is one of Mauritius’s best-known shore and boat diving areas on the west coast. Fringing reef and coral bommies hold moray eels, lionfish, angelfish and occasional hawksbill turtles. Many routes suit beginners, while outer reef sections offer more current and depth for experienced divers. Lagoon access depends on tide and weather, so confirm the day’s plan with a local centre. Fin above coral, avoid touching wildlife and do not feed fish.

Most trips target January - December, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is January - December, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Mauritius day to day, not just the map pin.
