About this dive site
A bucket-list pinnacle famous for schooling barracuda.
Barracuda Point on Sipadan’s eastern rim drops into deep blue where tornadoes of chevron barracuda often spiral above the reef. Green and hawksbill turtles, bumphead parrotfish and grey reef sharks share the wall. Park permits and daily diver limits apply; book early with a licensed Sabah operator.
Most trips target January - December, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is January - December, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Sipadan day to day, not just the map pin.
