About this dive site
A shore-access wreck draped in coral on Bali’s quiet coast.
The USAT Liberty rests metres from Tulamben’s pebble beach, colonised by corals, gorgonians and schools of bumphead parrotfish and trevally. Nearby volcanic slopes add macro and reef dives without long boat rides. Entry can be surfy; match wreck depth and penetration to your training.
Match wreck depth - and any penetration - to your training; many famous wrecks are enjoyed from the outside only. Calendar peak is April - October, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Tulamben day to day, not just the map pin.
