About this dive site
Pantar Strait currents, reefs and macro in one Alor itinerary.
Alor combines drift dives on current-swept ridges with muck and reef patches for frogfish, rhinopias and anthias-covered slopes. Kalabahi Bay adds critter hunting between blue-water days. Conditions change quickly between islands, tide tables and a local operator are part of the fun.
Most trips target April - November, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is April - November, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Alor day to day, not just the map pin.
