About this dive site

Protected Mediterranean reefs with dusky groupers around La Gabinière.

La Gabinière is a small islet south of Port-Cros, recognised by the national park for its rich underwater life and dusky groupers. Its rocky slopes and walls provide several different guided routes rather than one fixed circuit. Diving in the park’s marine core requires authorisation and compliance with the current regulations; a local operator can arrange the appropriate trip. Choose the route for current and depth, use designated arrangements for the boat and leave fish, rocks and attached marine life undisturbed.

Most trips target May - October, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is May - October, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Port-Cros day to day, not just the map pin.
