About this dive site

Protected Cuban reefs with Caribbean sharks and intact mangrove islands.

Jardines de la Reina’s archipelago pairs coral gardens, channels and mangroves with silky and Caribbean reef sharks on many itineraries. Fishing pressure is low inside the park, so grouper, snapper and gorgonians look genuinely wild. Access is via liveaboard with permits, confirm dates and regulations for your season.

Most trips target December - April, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is December - April, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Jardines de la Reina day to day, not just the map pin.
