About this dive site

Adriatic clarity and a WWII bomber on white sand.

Off Vis Island, a B-24 Liberator rests with wings and props intact in often-excellent Mediterranean visibility. Boat dives from Komiža or Vis town combine wreck history with reef life on the same itinerary. Summer seas are calmest; winter brings storms and limited schedules.

Match wreck depth - and any penetration - to your training; many famous wrecks are enjoyed from the outside only. Calendar peak is May - October, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Vis day to day, not just the map pin.
