About diving in Canada

Canada’s Pacific coast is cold, rich, and full of macro life—kelp forests, sponges, and walls that reward drysuit comfort and local knowledge.

Nutrient upwelling drives colour and density; tidal planning matters more than tropical “anytime” diving. Wreck and reef dives exist, but the signature is temperate biodiversity and dramatic underwater topography in green water.

Ideal for drysuit-capable divers, photographers hunting nudibranchs and wolf eels, and travellers pairing Vancouver Island road trips with dive days. Expect small boats, experienced guides, and weather windows—not mass-market resort diving.
