About this dive site
Shallow coral heads perfect for snorkellers and checkout dives.
Mata Rocks is a cluster of patch reefs between San Pedro and the outer barrier, often combined with Mexico Rocks on windy days. Colourful parrotfish, sergeant majors and juvenile reef fish swarm the heads while rays rest on the sand. Depth stays friendly for new divers and snorkel boats.
