A welcoming reef channel alive with classic Caribbean wildlife.
Hol Chan’s protected cut near Ambergris Caye funnels turtles, nurse sharks and eagle rays between reef crest and seagrass. Snappers and grunts stack in the shallows while the drop-off holds gorgonians and lobsters. Current can run on outgoing tides, so plan the dive with a licensed guide.
