About this dive site
Mid-reef canyons between Mata Rocks and Pescador on local fun-dive rotas.
Buena Vista Canyons sits on the inner barrier tract where sand grooves split coral ridges east of San Pedro. French angelfish and parrotfish work the shallows while eagle rays and nurse sharks appear on the sand. Shops use it as a calmer second dive when wind picks up on outer walls.
Buena Vista sits between Mata and Pescador on fun-dive rotas; a handy second dive when wind limits outer walls.
