North Ambergris reef entry beside Basil Jones Canyons on Bacalar routes.
Basil Jones Cut breaks through the northern barrier reef near Basil Jones Caye on Bacalar Chico day boats. Skippers use the channel to reach current-swept walls where reef sharks and eagle rays appear in good visibility. This is a remote north-day site, not a quick San Pedro mooring.
Basil Jones Cut is on north-day Bacalar routes; not interchangeable with a quick Hol Chan snorkel trip.
