About this dive site

Shallow sand flats famous for close tiger and lemon shark encounters.

Grand Bahama’s Tiger Beach is a dedicated shark-diving ground where lemon, Caribbean reef and often tiger sharks circle clear, sandy bottom on structured trips. Operators use baiting and staging, review ethics, cages if offered, and briefing rules before you book. Depths are modest but excitement and responsibility run high.

Most trips target October - January, but wind, swell and current still decide the day's site. Calendar peak is October - January, but skippers still move sites when wind, swell or current change. Book with a crew that knows Grand Bahama day to day, not just the map pin.
